This game is an entry to The Very Serious Juniper Dev Game Jam!

How to play:

  • Customers need their coffee! Once one has given you their order, stand in front of each station (coffee, cup and register) and press [E] to interact with each one, spinning a wheel. Press [Space] to stop the wheel. Each wheel has a limited number of spins, (bar the register wheel - that's meant to go last) and once all three have been spun, your results are locked in and given to the customer.
    • When spinning the Coffee wheel, you are scored by how close your spin is to the customer's order. Landing on the X result will result in negative points, if submitted!
    • When spinning the Cup wheel, you are scored by which result you land on. Customers like shiny new cups, and don't like old, broken ones!
    • When spinning the emotion wheel, you are scored by how your emotion relates to the customers. Customers like it when you match their emotion, and will give you a bonus tip for it! However, if you react with an opposite to their emotion, (Anger/Fear, Happy/Sad are both opposites) they may get upset with you and you won't receive any bonus. Anything else is considered neutral.
  • You will earn profit and reputation based on how well you do at each order! Try to earn as much money as possible before your reputation hits zero. Every minute, you will lose one reputation point as people begin to grow bored of the shop. If you do poorly with an order, you may lose some reputation as well. Use your re-spins wisely, and go for as long as you can!

There are still a few un-squished bugs left in this version, but the core gameplay loop should be untarnished! This was a rough run, but I hope you enjoy the final product. :)

(For example, sometimes the customers pile up, even standing on each other and refusing to leave! My system for this mechanic is a horrid mess, so I have no idea why they do this. Thankfully, it doesn't affect gameplay!)
